I have often wondered if there is a cure for gout. I have seen many posts saying there is no cure and some saying that there is a cure, but I suppose it depends what your definition of a cure is. My understanding of a cure for gout would be a medication, food or product that I would take and never have gout again without continually having to take the medication, food or product again.
When I see people saying there is no cure for gout I guess they are refering to a permanent cure, in which case I would have to agree with them.
On the otherhand, people claim to have a cure for gout. By definition they are correct because a cure means restoring to health, healing or a remedy. If you take medication and it gits rid of your gout then you are healed albeit only for the time being.
So whether or not you beleive there is or is no cure for gout, hopefully this will make some sense of things.
